Hi all just posting this as I had a sudden jolt of anxiety about travelling with cannabis flower to France. Medbud wiki still says that it's oils and extracts only.
Anyway... All good and all set for my trip!

Travellers can take their cannabis medication to France provided that :
- They carry them personally in their original packaging
- The quantities carried are compatible with a personal therapeutic use for the length of treatment given on the prescription and must correspond to the length of the stay in France
- They have with them an official letter from their doctor for all the medications they carry (a recent one is preferable) mentioning the duration of the stay in France
We advise you on arrival in France to go through the "red filter" to declare you are carrying cannabis medication. You must be able to show a prescription to the Customs officers in case of a control.

How did you find an email address for the embassy? I tried looking online and only got a contact form for the consulate who have said that it is outside of their scope to answer my query

i have carried flower to france many times.
carried all the paperwork.
never been stopped.
they (probably) dont give a monek's. stay safe.

I'd print off that email and keep it with your doctor's note and prescription note.
I was once saved a long process where a customs agent was unsure about what to do until I provided a print of an email I received from someone higher up in his dept. I think it adds to the perceived legitimacy of it.

Seems a bit daft for the quantity to correspond to the length of stay. What if your flight home is cancelled?
