I'll be straight up with you, you've bought several sub 100 vapes and they suck, all that cash could have gone on a good one, my honest opinion would be to get them sold and get yourself something like a mighty or volcano, 'plenty' of other options to, but it will be worth it, there's some portables that go up to 230 temp also iirc which is much closer to combustion for you

I love my mighty and the only thing I miss from smoking is a bit of asphyxiation going on inside the lungs as all that carbon clogs them up

Also if cash flow is a bit of an issue, perhaps look at klarna to see if there's anywhere you can get one spread over 3 payments

Would be good to know what you tried so far and what you felt was missing.

I personally don't think the mighty is for everyone, and I would say its not like smoking a J, rather a more drawn out session vape.

The dynavap vapcap is a bit fiddly but is one of the cheapest vapes and hits the hardest. Once you practice heating the cap /filling it how tight you want, you'll get great flavour and big clouds.

Different strokes for different folks though

I was talking about this exact thing earlier to someone when I quit smoking and started vaping.

At first I thought vaping sucked until 2 or 3 weeks later.

The tobacco in a joint adds to the couch lock effect that avping doesn't have but a vape high is a lot clearer and less tiring/lethargic.

If you give up the smoking, the vaping pleasure will increase massively.

Mighty+ has good resale value. You wouldn't lose much for testing it.

A little t break is needed to transition normally. Then you will feel the effects of vaping. If I ever combust now it literally does nothing more for me but make the experience vile.

Unfortunately you may need to up the spend but first try Dynavap. Closest thing I’ve come to have a joint, especially when using a single flame torch

I went straight in for the revolve stem from madheaters and the thing is fucking great. Once partnered with a Vapoven IH super easy to use.

If you are willing/able to up the spend then a cannabis hardware flowerpot or the Qaroma/Taroma/ceroma from Qaromashop

Try it and good luck mate 🙏

The Mighty is not like smoking really but its honestly much better once you get used to it. I was like you where I found it difficult to transition across because there's just something satisfying about a joint. However when I gave up cigs I also gave up joints and started using the Mighty more and now I would never go back to smoking it.

The high is just so much cleaner. You can also get different highs depending on the temperature you vape at. I'd say 180-185 is perfect for going about your day and getting stuff done, but if you really want that shut down, couch lock feel then you can vape at 200-210. 210 (the max temperature) is maybe where you might like to start off because the higher temperature is obviously closer to combustion and that smoke sensation but I think you will end up preferring 180 to 190 tops for all but the bedtime session.

I’d say you will struggle to find a vape that is like smoking a spliff.
If you are into bongs you can get some vapes that are very similar in feel to smoking a bong (with a similar amount of Vapor also) by going with one of the newer end game ball vapes. Brands such as Qaroma shop, elev8r, flower pot even the ‘pinky’ - thts probablu the cheaper option the pinky.
The only issue with these vapes is they are a lot to spend before knowing that they suit you. However having said that you could easily sell it on but I don’t see how you wouldn’t like it if you are used to smoking.
It’s by far the closest iv come - in fact you can actually even use it to smoke with if you really wanted to turn it up.

It took me a while to get used to vaping but then when I did I loved it. way taster, you use way less weed and I like the fact you get to then use the ABV to eat as a sleep aid.
Good luck! I’m surprised you havnt got on with them better tbh, the only way I was able to stick with dry herb vaping was to switch to the nicotine vape too. So I’m surprised switching to that hasn’t made joints taste disgusting tbh.
I think maybe your issue is with buying lots of cheaper devices rather than picking one heavy hitter device and spending the money on it.
It took me to buy an Arizer solo before it stuck for me and even that I don’t like now that I have my Ceroma.
The pinky is the cheapest of the bunch if you can be bothered to put it together yourself. Just do a google search for pinky vape and it’ll come up with instructions. If you already have an e-nail it’ll cost next to nothing. If you don’t that’s the most expensive part.
You can probably make a pinky for about £70 or £80 if you order the e-nail kit from Aliexpress or alibaba or something like that.
Good luck

Making the switch from toking pure was hard at first and I tried 2 other vapes before my mighty because I wasn't too comfortable with them. They were the dynavap and Arizer Extream.

There are quiet a few Mighty's on gumtree for £150, I guess you could sell yours there if you don't get on with it or even get one but you would miss the warranty then.

I'm thinking of getting a second just so iv got one always cool and ready charged, also to lend friends when they call round I don't really want anyone smoking in my personal space anymore.

I got my first Mighty + for £268 using vape fiend price match.

If you truly want to break away from smoking you’ll need a high end desktop vape. It’s a bit of a splurge but I can wholeheartedly recommend a Qaroma or Taroma

I thought it was rubbish at first and my first vape was / is a volcano. But you adjust to it just being different. I couldn't smoke a J now and better medicated than ever.

Depends if you are out a lot and portability is a thing. If not a couldn't recommend volcano more. I got the classic as like the bags and it's cheaper than the hybrid. About same price as a mighty but the taste and amount of vapour is 1st class.

Vaping will never fill the smoking void. They are two different beasts entirely. The best you can hope to do is to abstain from smoking long enough for your body to fully grow accustomed to and appreciate the health benefits of pure vapour and a cleaner more medicinal high.

You will never replace that ‘groggy’ stoned feeling which you get from smoking, not from my experience. Best thing you can do is recognise that what you crave, is the thing which is most unhealthy for you. That’s what I had to do. I soon stopped smoking 24/7. Perseverance is key.

Dynavap & FMJ (full metal jacket) is maybe a good solution for you.

Dynavap.

Honestly mate, I’ve owned/had a go on several dry herb vapes and for me personally, the Dynavap always comes put on top. It’s the closest you’ll find the smoking, it’s small and battery free and it KICKS!

Nothing will match smoking a joint because you are minus 2/3 of the components well could even say 3 paper, tobacco, combustion.
Honestly i have tried a few and the mighty is the best ive used. So much so i said i wouldnt hesitate to buy another so i gave my dad my og and bought a +
Honestly the only thing ive bought that lived up to the hype reviews.
Ive rarely smoked tobacco solo only tobacco in joints and used crave a joint every day. Since vaping last few years i can take it or leave it now dont crave and get ratty like i used to. I take it daily still because im on MC but if my scripts late i dont sit kicking off if you get me if i was smoking joints i most certainly would be from my recollection of how i used to be. My dad still smoking just cannabis no tobaco but with pipes and water pieces since he had the mighty he said its so much better, he said for him its like relaxing with a joint something he hasn’t done or be able to do for years because a full cannabis joint would be to much and he dont use tobacco but yer he said its like a joint but electric,
I like it as well just sit puffing away like you would on a joint.
I have baking parchment that looks like a king size paper that i empty grinder in and then i use that to help me load the mighty so the whole process is very similer bar the rolling bit. 👍
But also now i get way more high and medicated off the vaporiser than i do off smoking.
Now when i smoke a joint a cant taste weed at all just horrid tobacco man its so hard but also my lungs way better no longer cough up shite or grebby yellow slugs of a morning. Dont loose breath easy when exercising and stuff yer all round better.
Some cannabis taste so much better combusted though so i have bong but i havent even used that for a year and half now either.
I think you will get there is its something you actually want to do buddy it may just take some time to transition but once you do you wont look back.
My only advice is dont buy cheap vapes i did it almost put me off then i gambled on a mighty never looked back 💪🫶🏻✌️

When you smoke does it contain tobacco? If so, this is what's making the transition so hard in my (not a doctor) opinion.

A good vape will help. Dynavap or Mighty are both loved by their users.

Also stronger THC strains if possible and if the vape session doesn't do enough for you, do another.

😊

Just gotta willpower your way through it for a couple of weeks, from experience it's worth it. Vaping is better. Smoking tastes like shit and smells too much and is going to kill you.

If it doesn't need to be portable, the S&B Plenty has as close to a bong hit as I've had since stopping smoking (after 20+ years!), hardly any draw resistance, nice flavour from it too compared to other vapes, and it does hit hard! Looks like a drill though..

I would suggest checking out /r/vaporents - the subreddit dedicated to dry herb vaporisers, where there is a wealth of information from a knowledgeable and welcoming community.

They have curated a recommendations list, which covers different devices for various price ranges and also provides additional details like session style, heating methods etc. There is also a list of devices to avoid, which is worth reading as well.

They recently moved the list to a new site, following Reddit purging subs* in case they were next to be taken down.

https://www.beyondcombustion.net/The-Book-fka-The-Consensus/

* [A little additional context for users](https://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/comments/uebj6e/vote_for_our_new_home_rvaporents_subreddit_ban/)

If you can provide some further details of how you hope to consume ie portable unit or a desktop, session style etc as well as budget and we can offer some suggestions.

I will also suggest /r/frientexchange as a subreddit to check out - it is a place for users to trade/request vapes with other users. It tends to be a little more US centric, but you can find people closer to home.

DynaVap 100% worthwhile purchase, I was on the fence for a while, get your technique dialled in and its great, also a Mighty or other session vape to compliment it along the line.

if you had bought a mighty the first time you would now be done spending money.
Hold off on buying a new vape, and try buying a water pipe adapter for a vape you already own, and using that vape through a bong or bubbler.

Most vapes aren't a drop-in for joints, but most vapes through water -are- a drop-in replacement for bong rips.

Would need to know what devices you have tried to offer more advice than that.
