Does not supprised me in the slightest, I had a horrible experience with a gp in my local surgery last week, I suffer from degenerative disc disease and have quite a few herniated discs, my condition worsend last week to the point my whole leg was numb and weak and I could not walk, I managed to get a telephone appointment with my gp and they refused to send me for an MRI scan and proceeded to gaslight me saying the pain and numbness was in my head and in her opinion I was only trying to get opiod drugs because I'm prescribed medicanal cannabis.
Fortunately I booked straight back in with a different doctor the next day and have an MRI scan to attend tomorrow, but it just goes to show how some older doctors that are stuck in their ways will let personal prejudice effect your treatment.
I am not allowed a bad day now. The prescribed cannabis gets shoehorned in to a conversation every time I am having a bad day. Funny when I was couchlocked with serotonin toxicity lite on SSRIs that was fine, only *now* I am on 'proper' psychotropics. Oh fuck off.

So long as it's not discrimination, I find the best way to deal with stigma is to give zero fucks. The law is on your side.

I told my supervisor that I was prescribed MC and he said to me ok but your not allowed to have it in work??
