JEC - Is this normal regarding consultation time?

Hi all,

I'm applying to be a new patient with JEC and i'm just wondering whether i'm over thinking, or if JEC is just palming me off?

I sent all of my information over 3 weeks ago with Docotors reports and amongst other things, and I received this e-mail back -

Thank you for providing this for us.

I have attached them to your profile and sent them over to the consultant for review. We will be in touch shortly with regards to whether we have enough information to provide you with an appointment or whether we require more information in order to proceed further.

Come 2 weeks later, I still hadn't heard anything from them, so I gave them a ring and I spoke to someone who said that they'd get whoever was dealing with my case to get back in touch with me. I once again , received exactly the same e-mail. -

I've decided to look into maybe going with Cantourage Clinic ( Although I do realise they're initial consultation fee and follow up fee's are extremely high ). I've had a back and forth with a lady via e-mail today who has spoken to the Consultant and asked me numerous questions regarding my Reports that i've sent in. Come 5pm today, I got a Portal Log in to log in.

Am I just over thinking? How should I follow this up?

Probably worth keeping in mind they’re running a promo atm for £99 for a year. They’re going to be a bit busier than usual I reckon.

They’re also a new, rapidly expanding clinic. Teething issues are sadly unavoidable.

If I were you I’d do a separate follow up. Be persistent; it’s worth it.

I applied and had an appointment within a week. I think it does depend on which dr you need to see as to how busy they are.

JEC probably very busy with the November offer. I’m a patient, just booked a consultation with them and got it within just a few days. So seeing them tomorrow. They were extremely quick when I joined them back in the summer. Service is great once you’re onboard. Looks like you’ve received a standard pre written email. I’d give them another call to let them know you’ve received the same again and ask for a timeframe for a proper reply before moving on.

I honestly think they're just busy. I received the same email (Monday this week) after providing my medical history, and today they booked me in for my initial consultation (beginning of December).

As others have stated, JEC have an offer on at the moment which will be contributing to the wait times.
