Dangerous battery supplied with vape.

Hi everyone, this s my first post. Sorry to have to start on a fairly negative topic, but....
I received a Vivant Alternate from an e-Bay seller, and luckily I decided to check the battery as correctly fitted before using it. I found that the battery supplied was a low current cheap-n-nasty one, marked as not to be used in vapes. If you pull a high current from these they can, and do, explode. Vapes pull a *very* high current. Luckily I had a decent battery to hand, so I swapped it and all was well. But I would advise anyone who gets a hand-held vape to check the battery before you use it.

This is exactly what I'd expect from an eBay seller tbh

That's a Samsung 30q it has 3000mah capacity and 15a drain. It's a bit dated but it's a reliable battery.

You'll find most reputable batteries have that warning not to use in vapes.

It comes from the early ecig days. People were really pushing the limits of batteries and blowing them up. So naturally manufacturers put warning labels on them to cover their ass.

You're good to use your vape as intended. But in future head over to the below sites for vape purchases.

Vapefiend
Recommendedvapesupplies

These two companies stock reliable stuff and have great customer service.

Don't buy from e bay if you want a genuine part full stop.

The battery is fine, Samsung put that warning on years ago to cover themselves

30q is a great cell, not super high drain but ok for most regular dhv (wouldn't put one in a tinymight haha). Samsung just put that warning on all their cells to cover their ass.

Thanks for all the replies. I've been using ebay for yonks, and this is the first time I've had a problem with stuff from there... and it turns out to be not such a problem after all, but I will be checking out Vapefiend and Recommendedvapesupplies for future purchases.
