Seems from alot of things I'm seeing the flower atm is dead. The thc levels aren't right and people are getting the effect it should have etc... seems alot of people get one good batch then the rest are mainly dead or no effect and smell etc... opinions? ( plus see normally the same people commenting on the same posts all the time... )

Having smoked for 20+ years and traveled to loads of rec/MC places all over the place… I totally disagree with the strength of MC being weak/dead!
Smell and taste yeah sure I’m with you! Very few strains on MC have proper terps. And inconsistency with batches are common place.
But it’s strong! Most of the 25+ thc strains beat the uk BM for strength!
Well grown Dawg is a face melter and is an exception strength wise. I think that’s part of the problem as dawg is everywhere. But there is around 5-10 solid options on MC. I’ve only be using MC for 4-5 months but I can see it is improving!

Like everything. You’re gonna get the negatives showing up way more coz people lile to complain. Rarely the positive or happy people show their appreciation
Theres also the side of people smoking weed for 20+ years who are treating this as more than “medicine” and using it just to be legal.
Then theres people who are totally new to cannabis and don’t know the difference between dry weed and irradiated weed or strains etc etc
But to sum it up. Doesn’t matter the subject/product etc you are always gonna see more of the unhappy people as the people who are happy usually stay happy in silence. There is the odd post of people saying how good a certain strain is etc for them. But yeh. Need to take reddit posts with a pinch of salt

Just an observation on the sub. The problem with MC on here seems to be that there were a load of BM users prior to getting accepted for MC. I'm one of them but I actually need my MC for pain relief rather than recreational use.
As MC is a "catch all" medicine it needs to be irradiated (boo!) so that is safe for those that could be severely screwed if they inhaled a bug or some other contaminant. The irradiation causes the smell and some of the effects to be less than what a user would expect if buying BM weed. I know I would be pissed if I bought weed with no smell on the BM but you have to take into consideration that it's not the black market when you are prescribed medical weed.
Some strains just don't work for me and I've had stain lock from others pretty quickly. Quite surprising really as before I got my MC prescription I used AK47 for nearly 20 years without any strain lock.

It's like the entire industry does not take cannabis medication seriously and thinks it's ok to leave patients without or with substandard bud for weeks on end. I'm convinced that the clinics and pharmacies are just running interference on behalf of big pharmaceutical-financial interests.
We're at the mercy of private equity groups and other money worshippers. They're all tax dodging, private limited companies with no transparency at all. Hardly inkeeping with this wonderful, ancient medicine!
I think they are exploiting the grey area of cannabis regulation to ensure the entire sector is neo-liberal free for all with no real quality control.

I mean it depends really, so if your new to cannabis in general the MC scene isn’t bad in my opinion. I’m a user of cannabis and have been using since I was 15-32 I’ve had mixed emotions with the MC scene as I receive meds for spinal arthritis and ADHD. I mean I’d say I’ve got a good experience with cannabis in general , I’d say I’m a little picky with what I like to consume hasn’t always been the case until the BM scene in my opinion had got worse and thought legal cannabis would help me with work or driving but neither help really as most employees are worried about loosing there jobs ect. I’d agree with you some tubs are good and some are bad. I’ve just been able to get the delahaze and sourdough for Xmas so I can let you know what there like if you want?

What’s your angle and end goal here ?
For starters, it looks like you’re just trying to get a controversial discussion going and you’re not believing some patients are happy with what they have. Even though you’re not a patient that’s got any experience of MC. All your “research” seems to be from reading threads in this sub.
When you finish your “research” and post your “eye opening” thread, I hope you talk from experience and understanding of cannabis flower as an MC patient, not just a mish mash of text from random people in this sub. Also keep in mind that different strains have different effects on every individual.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been an MC patient for over 3 years and have no complaints.
Yes, smell and quality can be inconsistent but that’s the same for BM flower too - it’s the nature of perishables. MC more so with irradiation and very low moisture allowances. The effects have never let me down though.

Hate when people say it's for medical purposes so don't know why people are complaining etc well some people take cbd every day so they a strain high in "thc" not cbd. Have seen some stupid answers like "not everyone wants to get high". Well some people are on mc as the thc is the benefit they get to help? So what some people call a high is what helps them be medicated and get by day to day but some people try to act smart and say "not everyone wants to be high" yes that might be so but lots and lots are on mc because of THC benefits not cbd.

From what I've been researching, I see everyone gets one good batch then the rest aren't good at all. Alot of people want high thc and not cbd... but alot of people are getting strains that have no effect/smell etc
