Hi guy's
I got my first script yesterday and to say it fails to meet expectations is an understatement.
Bone dry buds, terps are a slight citrine with a chemical smell, tastes like it was cut 3 weeks too early and thick black ash.
To top this off there seems to be an irradiation of lesser cannaboids and it never "hits the spot" and gives only a racy head high, mixing with cbd helps with pain but is still a weird mix that pretty much feels like perscription medication and wears off in 15 minutes.
If you have ever grown.. errm.. tomatoes? , then I am sure on your first run you picked them a tiny bit early and it is that buzz, underdeveloped and not full bodied.
Can I find anything worth consuming at sapphire / curaleaf or is it best to switch to cannatonic and grow products ?
Many thanks

Hey mate, I felt the same. I moved to cantourage. I’m waiting on my grow pharma prescription. I will let you know that it could take a while to get an appointment and flower tho, so make sure you have some flower as I have nothing and waiting for my prescription

It does - you just need to switch clinics and get prescribed something decent from Grow Pharma….unless your not with sapphire and just buying Adven but I doubt it.
Move on, tell them their flower is crap and tell them that’s why your leaving. It may actually go some way to getting them to change their ways coz they are taking advantage of people who are I’ll who don’t know any better.
If you have come from growing…tomatoes…you will be particularly disappointed.
I was (eventually after having been told I was accepted and then after a week they changed their mind and said no) turned away from sapphire and I honestly thank my lucky stars.
I’m now with cannabis clinic cardif and can get any product and basically any quantity. My doctor is amazing and realises why I’m using this and supports me whole heartedly. I’m using from a unique reason (substance misuse disorder) among other mental health reasons and so it usually automatically gets doctors thinking it’s bad for drug addicts to use cannabis but ok for them to be stuck on methadone the rest of their lives.
This doctor is very innovative and looking at newer research which says cannabis can be HUGELY beneficial for drug addicts. It’s changed my life completely. I’m no longer strung out and risking seizure from not being able to find my benzo habit which was totally out of control.
Now a year on I am totally benzo free (was taking like 10-20mg of clonazepam a day before) and I am now starting to reduce the dose of my buprenorphine as well (iv gone from 8mg -> 6mg -> 4mg) so I’m doing really well and it’s all down to the fact that when I was first in withdrawl from benzos and didn’t have any, I decided to pick up some cannabis instead on relapsing on benzos and iv continued to do that every time I want to take hard drugs ever since.
I then started legit prescribed MC coming up to 3 months ago now but before that I was perpetually growing fat sticky rotten tomatoes.
Coming to MC from that has been a huge adjustment. Even the really good MC (looking at you Grow P!!) just is never going to compare in terms of flavour.
But the plus side for me is you know the % of the flowers and how much THC is in the oil.
Where as I didn’t have any clue really what was in my homegrown tomatoes - I mean I knew they were organic and clean but in terms of % I never knew which then meant making edibles and oils I had no idea what % I was taking and what MG of THC and CBD helps me medically. I now know that I need about 100mg of edibles or oils - and for me sublingual absorption makes no difference. It doesn’t make it kick in quicker for me and it doesn’t make me need any less.
I always do it and hold it in my tongue but at the same time it kicks in the same time later as an edible and I need the same amount…sure others are different but hey.
You need to kick sapphire and make it quite clear why. Otherwise your going to be paying infinitely more for nicer flowers. Just kick the bucket and switch. It’s a pain but you wouldn’t need to do it more than once.
I’d go integro and ask about their access scheme if your eligible and have low income/benefits.
Good luck bro and sorry you had to pay to work out sapphire suck big hairy balls.
Think of it this way, it cost you that much but now you know to steer clear of Adven/sapphire/CuraLeaf and you know what their business model is all about.
You have less money but you are now much wiser.
Take that wisdom and use it to move somewhere you will be happy!
Smile, vape, love, enjoy!

It's wierd.. I have previously experienced proper nice medicinal that works just perfect for me and it's like my brains always nagging me to get some of the other stuff 😄. I've been rolling ( not literally! ) with it for 18 months now and unfortunately I have to tell you that I'm not feeling particularly confident that I'll get what works best for me any time soon. So who knows what effect that will have in the long term?

Haven’t tried that strain but generally MC is not a nice smoke (assuming you’re smoking it?) because the buds are v dry and irradiated. You get more out of vaping it, which works better when it’s dry. If you want something non irradiated as others said go for Integro or Cantourage. Otherwise you should be able to ask your doctor for something that has more terpenes and more suitable for an “experienced user” per se. mine recommended Green Gelato which I’m enjoying.

Exactly the same experience as you. The only way I’ve avoided that racey head is to vape at 324F. Any higher than that it then turns to paranoia and is a nasty feeling. I’ve never had this with BM strains. Now have a pot of this stuff which I really don’t want to take.
