Has anyone experience of the above, have you successfully claimed tax relief on your MC purchases?

Yes check out vape dispensery run by same people as vape fiend. Ensure to fill out vat exception form.

You can pay into a health fund pre tax, then pull from that to pay prescriptions, including MC. You’d be paying benefit in kind tax on it, so only really worthwhile for higher rate taxpayers. You can get a mighty medic vat free, but the normal mighty is cheaper than the medic vat free

I understand that if you are prescribed a vaporiser it will be provided without VAT being levied. If you have bought without prescription, I do not think there is any mechanism to reclaim the VAT charged on the sale.
