I just write in the box when requesting more that I need X amount on the next prescription, I get 30g of 1 strain 15g of another and 5g upping to 10g on my next prescription because of doing this each time
Email them, then call, they might be a bit slow but if you explain the situation they are usually quite helpful and will normally do what they can during a transition to make sure you don't run out of meds before your next appointment.

Best to book an appointment and speak with doctor to increase the amount your being prescribed each month.
