This one in particular I've been looking forward to trying as Gelato strains have been among my favourites for a long time. Below are my impressions as I got some out of the tub and tried it for the first time
First things you'll notice with any weed is the smell. It isn't as pungent as Gelato you'd get in the streets obviously because that stuff isn't usually given the gamma treatment and therefore has more terps, but I must say I am impressed by the level of terps on this bud
Putting the nugs under my phone torch and you clearly see so much more terps than I personally have seen before on corporate cannabis strains, especially NOIDECS ones which I've generally found to be underwhelming compared to Khiron. I do think the photos I have took don't do justice to what I see with my naked eye. This stuff smells and looks well grown. The nugs in the tub I've opened are all popcorn nugs, but they are very dense
The taste is just like gelato should. Not as intense as what a street shotta would get you, but again, it has a noticeable gelato character to it. If you've had other gelato strains before, you will find the taste have the familiar sort of fruity, creamy tones you'd associate with Gelato #42 / Larry Bird. The taste is pleasant and while it still has that familiar hint of dryness we often get with the legal weed, I'd definitely consider this an improvement on earlier NOIDECS strains
The effects are good. There is a nice indica high but not overwhelming, you can do things. I tried this strain and went to see my nan on the other side of town. It did give me the feeling that if I took more I'd fall asleep, so it can be good for insomnia. I felt relaxed and was just generally vibing with the world around me
It helped with my chronic pain as well. My body feels really achy and painful due to having had a really busy couple of weeks but this strain has given me some respite from my body's limitations. My main issues that weed helps me with are chronic pain, insomnia, depression, and anxiety (which is the condition I'm prescribed for) and the Green Gelato helps with all of them. It makes me less tense so that I can either relax and get some rest, or get up and do stuff I need to do but I don't feel up to. I do feel like I personally could use this as both a daytime and night time strain
My rating so far with this strain:
9/10
This is one of the best medical strains I have had, and definitely the best NOIDECS strain I've tried along with Mazar. I'd definitely recommend anyone who is with TMCC to give this one a try

Been a pt 6 months, tried many things because the supplies have been abysmal. Green gelato is best P21 strain by far

Good review and write up mate thanks but I'm a tad confused at one part.
You mentioned that under a microscope you could clearly see the terps - did you mean the trichomes?
Either way, sounds like what I need and I will be trying some!!

Yeah just fyi you don’t ‘see’ terps. They are all wrapped up along with the cannabinoids in a nice little package called a trichome.
So what your seeing is the trichomes (some people call them crystals- incorrectly).
Just thought I’d let u know.
Nice reviews though - I had this stuff as my first script and although not as nicely cared for as the grownpharma gelato is was definitely acceptable for £5/g.
