Prescribed for Fibromyalgia pain/insomnia/fatigue since mid-August. With Sapphire, who I don’t mind.
EMT1, EMT3 flower & EMT2/EMC1 oil
I’ve been vaping EMT1 for a few weeks, first thing prescribed by Sapphire. At my first follow up I asked for something that would make me less dopey for during the daytime. While the pain relief is amazing, I find myself just sat staring into space for a bit after each vape session.
So… they gave me EMT3 to try. The buds look fine, dry but fresh and bright looking. Super cut grassy on the nose. Does the job with the pain and also doesn’t make me dopey. But to vape it makes me gag. It tastes so bad that I’ve gone back to the EMT1 after a week. Can’t bring myself to inhale the stuff anymore.
Got another appointment booked to ask for a change, hoping to pick everyone’s brains for something to ask for.

I emailed Sapphire about this and they emailed me back with a huge list of everything they can supply but will need an appointment to change.
I suggest doing this, but knowing about the other flavours... I have no idea.
I've kept with the EMT3 as it totally works for me and I've since gotten used to the taste. Plus at £5/g it's worth it, others your looking at 10/12/14per gram

I know what you mean but I'm sure others will back me up in saying that 6 months ago it was a lot worse!
If it wasn't for it's almost magical ability to switch off the maddening static pain like nothing else, I would never have ordered a 2nd tub. But here I am, it's a lot better than it used to be and I've found that eventually I didn't mind the smell and taste, now I actually look forward to it and miss it when I've run out. There's conditioning for you.

The EMT3 is a bit different from anything (BM) that I’ve tried before. Gave it my best but just can’t face it!
I admit I’m a wuss that gives up easily if something doesn’t taste great! 😬

Update after my follow up:
Explained my issue, the lady was totally cool with it. Mainly just amused by my tasting notes of ‘mouldy mushrooms’. Seemed like it wasn’t the first time she’d heard of taste problems with it.
She gave me a bunch of other options with different price points, all more expensive obvs. as not Adven. Even had the option of something not from Curaleaf if I wanted.
Went with Red2 in the end. Mighty pricey at £68 for 5g, but all the other options had a minimum 10g.
Will let y’all know how I get on!

Perhaps adding a small amount of dried mint in with it to see if that sorts out the taste a bit for you

I think it depends on the person.
I'm a 17+ year smoker of cannabis and previously very involved in black market but now I am fully medicinal prescribed only enters my system.
I actually thought the emt3 tasted strange but I really really enjoyed it and found it very very nice indeed.
The taste for me is just like many strains.
