- A couple of really nice buds. The top 3 add up to over half (nearly 18g) with the biggest weighing over 8g.
- Expiry is 05/23, the same as the last batch of Gelato I got before it went out of stock. How come it went OOS for several months but the expiry date indicates it's over 5 months old?
- People have questioned whether strains are getting mixed up by Grow and I've always pointed out there's multiple phenos of each strain (which there are, including in this batch of Gelato). However, I'm 90% sure that 2 of these buds are SG (you can see one of them in the bottom right). Although I've seen some light green Gelato buds (that were 100% Gelato), I haven't seen the loose, foxtail structure like this bud which is so characteristic of Glue strains. The nug has no terps so I can't confirm but if Grow are mixing up strains, that's really sketchy. There should be no way for that to happen.
Note that I had this script waiting with IPS for a few weeks while Gelato was OOS and was able to convince them to apply the pricing that was in effect when I ordered the repeat script. Due to the price increase, I'll be moving back to BM (homegrown) bud from here on out, until a more competitive and fairly priced producer arrives on the market.
I also think it’s pretty self evident they don’t segregate each seperate area where they grow each seperate strain.
Unless they are just REALLY bad growers and are somehow managing to stress ALL plants of ALL strains.
It’s much more likely they didn’t segregate each area and got pollen drift from one or two plants.
I would imagine if you grow out them 40 seeds and did a pheno hunt you would most likely end up with some really interesting crosses.
Also, if you’re he seeds are due to stress then they SHOULD be feminised as well, given that’s how they create feminised seed stock!

mate I just got french cookies and hellfire og 20 g of each and also 20 of gelato
by far gelato is still the best 👌 but the hellfire fire og is nice definitely recommend but that french cookies lacks any real flavour don't order it...
You’re right to say ‘allegedly’ at this point, but I’m 99% sure I’ve just vaped SG from my LA Sage jar. Effects are there and the taste is similar. It’s masked by the Sage terps from the other buds, but like you say the bud is similar to a glue stain - airy, scraggly and little scent when you break it.
I really hope im wrong and hopefully it is just another pheno.
Wow, either the genetics it totally fucked or that went through some crazy stress. That legit looks like 4 different strains mixed. Such a wild colour difference. Bet its full of microseeds too.

Burp when curing only then airtight and dark. Good for couple on years in my experience
