Upon my recent hospital stay I was denied using my medication in the ward as they still saw it as vaping/smoking. I was told if I had oil it would be no issue. So I guess I am now exploring oil options on a budget. I currently vape 2.5g p/d, hoping to perhaps spit this in half with oil for eg 60ml oil + 30g bud. I have had oil/wax etc before but always vaped or smoked it in a blunt in the past. I guess I am wondering for those more experienced oil users is realistically how many weeks would 60ml of oil last typically? I'm with sapphire, cough, so I am looking at Advens T20:C0 EMT2 Full Spectrum Oil which is some what ok in price and I have vaped emt2 t20, however I was not a great fan tbh. I guess I am wondering if there are and any adven t20 oil users and if its helping you etc?

Just to be clear in case there's some misunderstandings here... It's not about the cannabis, it's the vaping. You're always going to be denied vaping flos on the ward *because vaping triggers the fire systems*. It's likely to be purely about the health and safety issues of that, not the cannabis. Vape sets off particle detectors, which is what's usually installed on the wards. They can and will have to deny vaping because they're not allowed to deactivate that system for you and out everyone else at risk, and even vaping out of a window can blow it back in and trigger it. Just too big a risk in a hospital where evacuations are so disruptive.
If getting the oil is too much trouble, maybe consider that you can ask the hospital if they can arrange for you to be transported to the smoking area (or somewhere else outside) to vape. They should be able to do this as a accessibility request, just like they'd enable you taking any other medication. If you're not actually trapped in the bed, they can wheel you out for a vape break with your drips and cables. I discussed this at a recent hospital stay, and it was fine in principle, but I didn't end up doing it. But if you can be made mobile enough, the option may well be there. Good luck whatever you do!

Sapphire do an Adven T100mg/ml, I switched up to that one on my second review. I mostly use it for sleep, but it is a handy alternative to flos when I am Scouting and can't easily vape.
I may be wrong, but you have a prescription which states that you have to take your flos via a vaporizer. The NHS have no right to tell you to not take your meds as prescribed by your Clinician.
I always take my meds to hospital, if I am staying or in A&E I need to hand them over, but I get them back when I ask. I'm not saying they like it, but it's your prescription medication after all. Have you asked your clinic for a letter explaining this?

adven t20 helps me masses.
bear in mind it is only 2% thc. there is an adven 100 (10% thc) which is more cost effective but too difficult to dose if your tolerance or need is low, like me.

Im pretty sure if you had the correct documentation and made a fuss they would not be allowed to deny you access to your medication.

Ive had lengthy hospital stays and i have previously got away with vaping in the shower room. Shower doesnt set off the alarm so vape wont either. Good luck.

Note that the oil won't get you stoned, doesn't for me even a triple maximum daily dose in one go..I've given up on it.
