People treat ADHD: How much does it cost you per month? I need to decide whether it’s financially viable at the moment.

I’m sure this is the path I want to go down, but I’m unsure whether I’d actually be able to afford it which is a shame.

I know everybody’s dosage is personal, but I figured a spectrum of answers would help me make a more informed decision.

My script for flower just cost me £300 for 60g but I’d already paid £250 for the appointment. Crazy money for a crazy racket signed in by the government! I’m waiting to see what happens when someone who also has a prescription is caught growing weed and I’ll probably hop on that lol
Tbh it’s my first prescription so I’m not sure what I’ll actually use and that’s not even with the oils. The oils would be like another £150 on top of that

If you have a low tolerance I'd say about £100 - 10g EMT1 and 10g EMT3. EMT3 is great for ADHD day time sativa, helping you with focus and mood regulation. Emt1 will help you sleep and ease the mind chatter at night.

£16.66 per month appointment costs (month is calculated at 28 days, appointment cost is going off 4 appointments per year divided by 12 (4*50)(/12))

1g = £5 (adven flos range)

0.1g = £0.50

Usage is 0.3-1g a day

Works out to between
8.4g in a month if using 0.3g per day

£42 worth

19.6g if using 0.7g every day

£98

Minimum 28g if using 1g per day

£140

Minimum per month cost of £58.66

Max per month cost of £156.66

Since my usage varies heavily & I haven't been the best at keeping track of avb weights I'm not entirely sure of costs but I've atleast got a rough range. Due to my symptoms and day to day circumstances my usage varies a lot & sometimes it's lower than 0.3g a day but this is just to give a rough idea.

Treating for adhd, Asperger's, gad, pain from internal bruising on my left side & joint issues. I'm with sapphire & on their access scheme.

Hope that helps & best of luck, definitely works out more expensive than bm in the long run but there's negatives / positives to both.

I pay 5 quid per gram atm. So £100 for 20g.

Don't forget to take into account additional postal charges if you're not on UK mainland. And the cost of the follow up consultations every few weeks.

I’m 382.50 for my month script, probably be a bit more when I get my strain changed from khiron to something different in a couple weeks, price all depends on how much you smoke tho my friend

I mean I think itll totally depend what works for you. Some people only need one medication use only a small amount and it’s effective. Depending on what brand kinda depends who’s the cheapest to go with in the long run. If I’d been fine sticking with adven for me it would have been about £160 for say 7-12 days of meds depending on what I needed say to say. Tho take into account I’m diagnosed with ADHD and Sapphire have only prescribed my medication for Generalised Anxiety Disorder and mood dis-regulation. They said they couldn’t identify symptoms of adhd, which I guess is because I’m on dexamfetamine that seems to manage it “mostly”. I’m hoping adding a sativa to my script will help me not need so much so often (elvance just gave me way to much anxiety, but so did my doctor at the time).

I’ve just changed to Aurora pedanios and Khiron which are a chunk more money on the gram. If current script continues it will be cheaper for me to move to a Project 21 clinic for the medication discount rather than cheaper appointments and free repeat prescriptions I get with the Sapphire Access Scheme.

While we’re still trying to work out what exactly my prescription should look like I’d rather be able to book in more often…but tbh it’s not going to work out cheaper for loads longer if I stick with the current meds, guess I’ll see if they’re significantly better whenever curaleaf send me a payment link for them lol.
