NOTICE: I think it would be illegal to use a cannabis oil prescription in the UK in this fashion as it would be against prescribing instructions and requires you to make it. Just putting this out here just in case any of you are ever in a legal location so you can buy or make similar.
I am about to experiment with a legal THC balm.
I often use a full spectrum cbd/hemp balm to help me with neck, back and hand pain. Now I have decided to delve into the topical use of THC also. Currently I am dealing with a decent amount of neck pain and a broken toe.
My balm is the the following strength:
200mg/10% CBD Full spectrum distillate (CBD, CBN, CBE, CBT, CBG, terpenes etc.)
60mg/3% Delta 9 THC
+ Few drops of essential oil pain blend

You can use avb for making topical oils. I find it helps my skin complaints as well helping a bit with joint pain.

Does THC definitely work in a balm? I always thought it had to be metabolised via the liver or lungs so would be genuinely interested to know the efficacy of this.

Could you tell us where you get the full spectrum CBD distillate from?
Also what are the oils in your essential oils pain blend?
Lastly what do you use for your base?
Thanks. Sorry for all the questions.
