I am all for legal weed. I mean I paid the racket money to the Mafia to have an appointment, then I paid for the actual weed itself but from reading on here I’m really worried about the terpene profile - or lack thereof!
I genuinely feel like the difference between ‘daytime’ weed and ‘night times weed is the terpenes. There isn’t really much different, chemically speaking, about an indica to a sativa other than the difference in terpenes so if my meds come and there are no terps or flavour I am going to be dissapointed as to me, that’s half the medicine Missing.
Now I get that I should have done some homework before my appointment and asked for some none irradiated strains but being the typical stoner, I forgot.
I was wondering if anyone buys terpenes to add to their flower? Iv seen a couple of companies that sell them in the UK and I’m pretty interested.
I saw yesterday someone posted a link to a storage container that had terps in the lid but they didn’t have a section to actually purchase.
Iv also noticed that Integra Boost make two types of humidity packs.
One standard - like boveda for a 62% rh and then they also do ones that are also 62% but have terpenes infused into them.
I think if my flower comes and has no flavour I’ll probably go this route. I am used to flower that has literally just been chopped, dried and cured. Literally usually get it within days of being dried so super flavourful.
I was also curious if I put some of the dry bud in the Same jar as some rele flavourful bud would it pick up any taste? I know it would sort the humidity but wondering if any terps would get carried across.
Alternatively I have the option of making dry ice hash out of the rele tasty stuff and just using a little bit of that every time I use my noidecs.
Options options options!

Worth looking at the new grow range! Because most of the flower is irradiated it loses a lot of the terpenes. Still has some flavour but not what many of us are used to or expect. Because the grow range isn't irradiated it should in theory have all the terps untouched like the cannabis you get on the street.
Worth checking some of the recent threads on here and seeing what people have said about it. It's something I'm keeping an eye on and plan to swap to in the coming months depending how it all goes

It’s not just terpenes or THC/CBD but a number of other cannabinoids as well

I’ve only ever had one product that wasn’t terpy and beyond revival. Yes they come quite dry however rehydrating with hydrostones and bovedas revive more terps if you’re worried.

That sounds mega. My adven cbd bud even with a boveda pack in a proper cvault has little to no smell even after a few weeks. How do you workout what terps to add to what strain?

Do you just drip it straight into the bud? Does it come in a dropper bottle or something?

The Grow range is supposed to retain a greater amount of terps. That being said there's questions around contamination as a couple of pharmacies have cited some of it as inadequate.
While terpenes have additional medicinal benefits it seems you're more concerned about the flavour. When my nephew doesn't want to take his antihistamine because it "tastes nasty" I treat him to an ice pole afterwards to get the nasty taste out. Maybe try something like that? In the end if it alleviates your symptoms and helps you then the taste is secondary right? Same as any medicine... Best of luck.
