I've finally gotten round to ordering some Boveda 62% sachets.
I've seen that other people decant their meds into glass jars - is this necessary or can you just chuck the Boveda in the 10g plastic tubs?
Also, how often do they need replacing? It says on the packet they last up to 2 years?

The "2 years" thing is how long they'll last while they remain sealed in the packet.
Once in a jar with some bud, they'll last much less than that. It'll depend on the moisture level of the bud when you pop it in, but in my (admittedly limited) experience, they last anywhere from 6 months to a year. Once they're "done", it's quite obvious, as they go kind of hard and "crunchy".

I use the 62% boveda and I just put them into the tub my meds come in. When they go hard it means it's time to replace them. It can vary how long they last but they can last along time. I give them a check about once a week or so

Iv just stuck a boveda in my tubs that I’m currently using. When I get to the end of that I’ll add one to the next. I only got my first order today tho so I’m not hugely experienced with these particular tubs - I do have a load of canning jars but doubt I’ll bother transferring it. Most of them are in use…

You shouldn't need Boveda because it should be cured already.
Just keep it in a cool, dark place (cupboard/ wardrobe) in a glass jar with a screw top lid (jam jar etc.).
