Sapphire

So I first tried to go with sapphire in Feb/march time but my gp surgery wasn’t releasing my records & ignoring me. I’ve not accessed my record/summary and sent it over, hoping for an appointment somewhat soon. Hoping to get prescribed for depression & to also help with my sleep, anxiety & apatite, I smoke daily already and have done for a couple years but if I’m honest, I’m clueless with medical strains and what would fit best for me etc. i know it’s different from person to person but any advice or recommendations would be great. Already overthinking the appointment and what to say so if there’s any advice in that too, it’s be appreciated!😁

Start getting familiar with the strains you use and which ones work best for you. The strains available on UK MC are limited currently, but it'll give them an idea of your needs.

Also if you prefer flower be ready to have a good reason for that as they will push oils. But don't dismiss the oils, some people find them very effective, sadly for me they didn't agree with my digestive sytem. Sapphire try to start everyone on the Adven strains, they have a preferred supplier agreement with them as do most clinics with other brands such as Noidecs, Grow ect. There are mixed reviews here about almost all strains, in time you'll figure out what's best for you. You can see the strains available at https://thecannabispages.co.uk/

Above all be yourself. Think about the ways in which cannabis has been helpful to your health conditions. The process is more about finding reasons to include and accept people than the other way round, think of it as them just getting to know you better, making sure there are no red flags such as drug or other interactions/contraindications after that it's a case of getting your prescriptions started.

Good luck!

Had my appointment yesterday and I can assure you it will be fine. I have pain, anxiety and struggle with sleep so a bit similar to your self. The doctor I spoke to was lovely and very helpful so don't worry about that's its not like other doctors you have spoken too these doctors are pro weed. I would say If you can remember any strain you have smoke resistantly that have helped you in any way it might be helpful to get a better weed on your first go with them. Cause it seems that strains effect everyone different

You’ll be fine. Just talk to the Dr honestly and openly about how you feel it helps you. If you know hat strains you generally enjoy the effects of that you were buying on the BM it can be helpful but it’s definitely not essential. The doctor should know what they are talking about really.
Good luck, hope it goes well
