I would suggest you reply, copying in their manager, stating you are aware of your rights as a legally prescribed patient, and you are very disappointed in their lack of research ability. Add in the links for your clinic, pharmacy, mhra, cannabis registry if you're on a scheme and anything else official you deem relevant. Also, state that you will be seeking legal advice for very obvious discrimination.
They will try to bully you into submission. It's what they do, but stand your ground, and they won't have a leg to stand on. I asked a friend who is very up on housing law, and he said this should make them back down. Good luck mate!
this is excellent. people taking responsibility in an area they have no competence and then getting it spectacularly wrong in writing allows you to question them throughout and establishes their incompetence in any hearing.
The law is clear in this regard, if you do not feel you have sufficient grasp of the law here, the you should not feel confident to harass me in regards to a law you admittedly do not understand.
If you wish to understand the motivations of my prescribing clinic, then you should direct that enquiry toward the clinic.
Whilst I am under no obligation to do so, I shall assist your investigation / witch hunt by suggesting you read the medical cannabis act 2018.
I would also direct you to the disability discrimination act, and the consequences for harassing a patient for their disability or medication use.
Whilst I do not require any further assistance from you at this point, I reserve my legal right to demand any reasonable accommodations from yourself to facilitate my safe and comfortable medicine use, as is your obligation to provide.
So I’m with a housing association also and in a block of 8 flats they were initially upset with the smell so were my neighbours I’d constantly get comments and complaints filed against me I called my housing officer got her to come round and showed her all of my prescription meds and the prescription and the website my emails with the clinic the doctor I was under at the time they contacted my gp and I gave them permission to tell them about my medicine they have ever since been great they even went to my neighbours and explained they had checked and it was completely legal and they shouldn’t say anything negative towards me as I’m already suffering from ptsd and anxiety along with asd and they should be more respectful of other peoples needs not so condemning never had a problem since luckily I’m not sure all associations are like this maybe I got lucky but maybe that’s the way forward for you ?
the police did this to me also my partners housing said the same thing just stand your ground and remind them they are violating your basic human rights as a medical patient tell them its been legal for 5 years and is prescribed in many forms
its a shame 5 years and they still are behind on our laws
Send them thebl the government website explaining the rescheduling of cannabis https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/circular-0182018-rescheduling-of-cannabis-based-products-for-medicinal-use-in-humans/rescheduling-of-cannabis-based-products-for-medicinal-use-in-humans-accessible-version
Wtf. Is this actually real?
The law is very clear. Do you want me link you to the change in law as published?
Can you name and shame your HA?
I’d draft the reply letter for you if you like. I’m sure plenty of others here are going to offer as well.
Wow am sorry you're having to put up with this prehistoric person..he has not done himself any favors at all..I hope you stick it to them mate..this rubbish needs to stop..
We are amending the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 (“the 2001 Regulations”) and Misuse of Drugs (Designation) Order 2015 to reschedule cannabis-based products for medicinal use in humans to Schedule 2 of the 2001 Regulations and to impose additional access and administration restrictions in relation to these products. This means that from today (1 November) there will be a legal route for cannabisbased products for medicinal use to be prescribed by doctors on the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register in the strictly controlled circumstances required by the 2001 Regulations without the requirement for a Home Office licence.
Why is this busy-body even asking these questions, and judging your morality?! Surely if you were so concerned to learn a 'private clinic' is breaking the law - you would just contact the police.

‘The flower part of the cannabis plant is not exactly legal’ , so are they insinuating that it can be obtained legally, like in a medical way?
Jokers man, let them hang themselves and like others have said, document and seek legal advice

I'd ask which piece of legislation specifically states the flower part of the cannabis plant is illegal
I'd also ask them which piece of legislation states cannabis is illegal, as opposed to a controlled drug
