Mamedica customer service

Hey everyone after years of chronic pain/anxiety ive decided to turn to MC as ive used it before to deal with my ailments. Ive researched clinics previously I did enquire with Sapphire who offered me a consultation within a week but I didnt go ahead with it because I learnt about the irradiated bud.

So I saw all the positive comments about Mamedica and how great they are so decided to sign up for a consultation/eligibility check a couple weeks back I could only book my consultation for a month and a halfs time which seems rather long to me
,Ive seen people mention Mamedica move appointments forward so Ive tried calling them to get more information about documentation that they need and if I could be moved forward but no one ever picks up the phone. Plus their mailbox is always full so I cant leave a message, Ive even tried emailing them and no reply.

So what do I do now just wait until mid June for my consultation or are there any other clinics as good as Mamedica?

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Cantourage are quite good and similar to Mamedica in giving patients more choice, you can access both non-irradiated and irradiated strains.
They are also great with comms, phones answered promptly and emails always responded usually straightaway if it'sa routine enquiry, otherwise within a day or two.

They've had issues- all clinics do - such as due to supply issues which affects the whole industry, and at one point last year they were so popular they took on more patients than they could handle, which caused a lot of problems.

But things have been stable for a while now, their dispensary Cedarwood is also much quicker turnaround now, from ordering repeat to delivery 4/5 days.

I do have some minor quibbles with them such as the patient portal they use, it is pretty useless apart from for booking follow ups, Sapphire has much better systems in that respect, but to be fair to Cantourage they say they are working on bringing in new and improved IT systems soon.

This is just my experience and there may be better clinics, but I was with Sapphire previously and now 9 months with Cantourage and have never looked back, for me its also about how the clinic team interact with patients, I feel the people at Cantourage are more respectful and responsive to my needs, they try to help and will work with you to get the right meds and treatments for your conditions.

Good luck whatever you decide!

There is a trend amongst the decent clinics to grow their patient list at a rate that their services are unable to cope with. It quickly turns them from decent to a nightmare to deal with.

Mamedica are currently the flavour of the month, largely thanks to a certain Youtuber who has been promoting them (I suspect they approached him, the connection certainly isn't 100% transparent imo), plus their other marketing efforts.

What I'm getting at is that they are almost certainly going to experience some service issues in the coming months, from the sounds of your post anyway.

People will pop in with the recommendations, but I'd probably stick with what you've got and keep trying early morning calls or whatever to get through.

Good luck, it's worth being patient in my opinion.

I'd say you dodged bullet. One of the recurring themes of complaints is the state of comms from the clinics. Not even being able to have a working message service on the phone is surely a sign that they don't have the capacity to deal with the clients they already have.

FWIW, I'm with Sapphire and can't fault them. Irradiated bud does certainly have a different smell and feel, but a few days in a jar with a Boveda perks it up. The most important thing is that it works as medicine.

I feel bad when people have to wait months for mamedica, I always get through on the phone fast, and called yesterday and got an appointment for Tuesday. Was the same for my last appointment....I'm finding them stress free. Only thing I would say is the dispensary aren't always that informative but if you call and ask they usually answer

I'm with Lyphe and I've never really had any issues. I personally can only recommend them

This is the story mostly everywhere at the moment.
The clinics are now all trying to process the glut of 420 signups, some have even stopped taking new patients for a bit.

Lyphe Group are great. I haven't had an issue with them as a lot of the teething issues they had in the early days have been resolved. I can book my appointment and get my prescription in about a week.

They have had a massive and unprecedented influx of new patients. I got in just before tsunami about 1 month ago.

I would give them a call on Tuesday and ask to be put on list for earlier appointments. Not sure why you are having issues calling them, I spoke with them yesterday with no issues.

I don’t have my prescription yet but I enquired with Integro on Tuesday, got an email back on Wednesday, sent all my docs. Then got an email for an appointment with Dr for Friday. So within like 4 days I went from not knowing anything to being prescribed 60g/month.
Hopefully IPS are just as smooth sailing with the prescription 🤞

I had my first consultation with Mamedica last week. When I booked the appointment, it was originally two weeks away, but they rang a few days after I’d booked and asked whether I could attend my consultation the next day as someone had cancelled their appointment. It helped that I had already uploaded all the documentation they needed so I was fast-tracked. I’ve had to call them a few times to clarify a few processes and I’ve not had to wait. Phone was picked up straight away. I e-mailed the pharmacy to check when my meds would be dispensed and they e-mailed back straight away to say they were on the way. From first consultation to meds arriving, it has been seven days. My experience has been really positive.

Sapphire are pretty good for customer service tbh they've been amazing for me recently with travel letters and investigating some issues and the bud is perfectly fine, when I see other people posting mouldy bud I can understand why producers would opt for irradiation.
