Just received my first prescription from mamedica. The oil I received expires in 3 weeks and I don’t have a follow up for another 5 weeks… is this normal? I will be using expired medication for 2-3 weeks.
Is this normal or should I ask for a replacement?

not good. certainly worthy of a formal complaint, even to whatever ombudsmen pharmacists have.
the lloyds pharmacy website says the following;
*Many medicines become ineffective when they pass their expiry date which can be a risk to your health.*
Hung by their own petard!!
Thems the rules. having said that; oil is perfecty fine past those dates. My present bottle expires august (dispensed June). any long date means it is fine for weeks past at least.
These people are taking the mickey with their prices and their services. we shouldnt be taking itlying down or it will get worse.

This is bad. Refund and complain. Find a new clinic.

I would be asking for a replacement. No pharmacy should be sending out of date stock to patients. It’s maybe an error?

Extremely poor service, and completely unacceptable!
I’ve been prescribed oil for over 3 years and never had an experience like this.

I would request a refund or have them send you a different batch. The oil would most likely be fine as they often extend expiry dates, but that's no excuse not to give you a refund.

I didn't know oil has an expiry date. Interesting.
I'll bare this in mind when I speak to my doctor on my first appointment
