Cannabis Abuse on Medical Records. Get it checked out.

Recently I have been looking to move clinics so requested my patient summary from my GP only to find ‘non-dependent cannabis abuse’ since I started using MC.


I have been back and forth as to why this happened when it’s medically prescribed and it should not be on my record as ‘abuse’.


As it turns out, it’s simply down to the NHS coding system only having one preset code for anything cannabis related - ‘cannabis abuse’.

Schools teaching incorrect information re: medical cannabis

My 13 year old nephew is at a state secondary school in Glasgow. He's at the age where they have started teaching about drugs and recently learnt about medical cannabis. However annoyingly he has been told that whilst MC is now legal in certain situations that as flower it is illegal and if someone with flower says its medical they are lying.
